Cashew Chicken

Today I want to cook chicken in different style because one of my Canadian friend comeing for dinner .She can’t eat spicy chicken so have to cook something less spicy but tasty and look also a matter. So going to prepare Cashew Chicken and the recipe for all of you.

Prep time :1 hr.

Serve for 4 person.


1.Chicken 750 gm.
2.Onion paste (boil a large onion and make a smooth paste)
3.One large chopped tomato.
4.One table spoon Ginger & Garlic paste.
5.Ten to Twelve Cashew nut paste.
6.Poppy Seeds Paste 1 tea spoon.
7.One tea spoon red chilie powder.
8.One tea spoon cumin powder.
9.One tea spoon curd.
10.Salt & sugar (optional) as per taste.
11.Shah Jeera (white cumin) & Jhaha Marich(white paper) few.
12.Sunflower oil.


Marinate the chicken with curd,red chili powder,cumin powder ,salt, ginger garlic paste for about one hr.

Add oil in a hevvy bottom vessel sprinkle some shah jeera and shah marich fry for few seconds and add the boild onion paste cook till it become brown.

Now add the chopped onion and tomatoes fry for some time till the oil separate then add the marinated chicken.

Cook with a lid till the chicken tender. Then add the cashew paste and khaskhas past, mix them with the chicken nicely. A nice colour and aroma will make u hungry.

Before switch off the gas and the fresh cream. Serve hot with Jeera Rice,Roti or Paratha.
